Depends. Sometimes once a week, sometimes once a month. I used to order sushi once a week, on Sunday, but the place I was ordering from delivered me sushi with rotten avocado, so I don't order from there anymore. We ordered Thai last night and it was delicious. It usually takes 30 - 60 minutes for the food to arrive.
Whoo. I'd say 1-2 times a month. Usually through a service, as most restaurants don't want to do their own delivery anymore. (SF Bay Area) The service says that all deliveries take 75 minutes. Reality? 45 minutes.
I dont do delivery because i live within walking distance of several restaurants. I have thought about doing a delivery service for grocery shopping, because grocery shopping is the worst. But i havent done it yet
I get delivery once a week or so. There are no good restaurants nearby and I don't drive so it's the most convenient option if i dont want to cook. Normally it takes 45 minutes or so for food to arrive.
Do it. I haven't done delivery yet, but I order all my groceries online and pick 'em up on the way home from work. My store has designated parking, a separate entrance, and a register just for "shop from home". In and out, boom, done. Well worth the $10 shopping fee they charge. (Plus, I can order from my couch in my pajamas )
I almost never get delivery unless I'm in a hotel room. I don't like people coming to my house and I especially don't like tipping. I'd rather pick something up on my way home.
