If you want to try the fly don't let us put you off as I must attest I have never tried it myself as I have heard mostly nasty things like the experience of being raped by the devil. But it's really up to you if you want to go for it, just come back and tell us what it was like afterwards.

But I think and floydianslip6 will probably agree the reason their allowed to sell it is so people try it and get completely put off the idea of trying any other psychoactive substance. But don't quote me on that. If it's dried it's probably fine and wont make you feel sick, but strap yourself down. Just in case you take off and if you have a bad experience with it (which you shouldn't) you'll know not to try it again.

Think happy thoughts and you should be fine. If it makes you feel ill just don't buy it again.

 

But the nasty stuff I all heard was in the newspapers from people like enk who went off and ate a RAW one.

Oh and just so you know they sell peyote legally within the UK and Online, but owning is illegal in some states, so I would check in that shop you bought the fly from and see if he stocks those, they wont sell it to you if they think your going to carve the thing up, which you shouldn't do by the way, the trick is to let it grow a few new buttons and then chop them off the main plant, cacti love water and plant grow baby bio.

the UK government really amuse me at times, 3 to 4 years ago, buying and growing mushrooms and spores was totally legal, next thing, totally illegal, it would seem they can never make up their damn minds.

Lol! Well dude, phycadelic cactuses are sort of a religious thing, at least they are in the USA. If you live there, you need to be a member of a special church that consumes peyote for religious journeys. Maybe this is why the plant material isn't illegal. I believe the cactus is legal where I live (Canada), but preparing it or extracting the mescaline is not. An other reason could be that it is not widley used by many. Mushrooms are legal in Canada I believe, but you aren't allowed to prepare them or dry them out...

What you have to remember is that patch of peyote has probably been their for 100 years or more, their ancestors used it, their grand-daddy used it, their going to use it and their children will be taught about it, if you go ripping it up, its like pissing on their ancestors and I don't think they would be happy with you at all.

Your a little bit young to even be considering psychedelic's (no offence) and listening to all this, my advice would be wait till your 20, go find a shaman and tell him you want to take the journey, he'll be very understanding and will help you along the path.

Or perhaps what the person who was telling you about it was driving at was wait till YOU have a beard... LOL

Never tried fly agaric, I know you can easaly over dose on it and get sick, also you have to eat more than you would with regular shrooms. To top it off many trip reports of people compareing the two together prefere the shrooms.

Oh, and smoking cubinses(sp) distroys the main active chemicals, the only thing psychoactive in cubes when smoked may be dmt and there isn't much realy in them. I think you probably tripped more on the catus than anything. Or maybe you miss id'd your mushrooms and smoked something new and exciting, hmmm....
