    Man I hate being sick.
And I hate how much I hate hospitals to the point, where I think I might even have pneumonia, and I still wont go.
    Fevers suck. :(
    No sleep sucks. :(
Not being able to get out of bed becuase every muscle hurts, sucks. :(
Not being able to properly breath sucks.
Having all this last for the last three days, sucks.
I was even delusional at one point...
Anyone who wants to put me out of my missary is more than welcome!

How do you make yourself feel better when your sick? What are your favourite things? So far mine are cold showers and strawberry banana ice cream.

aww .. babe you need to go to the doctor

hmm ... when i'm sick i'm usually a big baby... tuck up under a big thick blanket, cup of tea, and some funny telly to watch as usually if i'm feeling that sick i can't concentrate on much else.

and sleep loads of sleep ... though if you can't sleep that doesn't help.

do you have Nyquil? or some equivalent like Night Nurse? that usually always does the trick to clear congestion and definitely puts you to sleep.
if you've got class or something like that get the Dayquil for when you need to be awake but take a shot of Nyquil for some rest.

    hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks!

Man, I have NO meds. I've just been pumping Advil like it's candy. I might get a friend to drive me to the store today, or to the hospital. It sucks that I don't have a doctor here, I'd rather go there then to the hospital!
I definitely need something to knock me out soon, I've had four hours of sleep. Nooo good.
TV is good too. I watched an absurd amount of LOST, which left me pretty disappointed. What a pointless show.

Hope you feel a bit better soon, being ill sucks :(

As for what people do...I can't even think of showing when I'm ill. The thought of having to stand up, then having to adjust to the cold after getting out...and having wet hair...just makes me feel odd.

I tend to crawl into bed and stay there hibernating for a few days. I've slept off all manner of crazy things, including some bug that had another guy I knew sent to hospital (he insists it was a more dangerous strain even though he caught it off me, he was a dick so I called bullshit, is it possible for a virus to stengthen in such a short time? Anyone know?) and I managed to sleep through the entire part after having tonsils out where it feels like you've been force-fed razorblades. Good times :D

I watch films when ill, being ill puts you in a different state of mind, that's the only fun part about it. Once watched one of my favourite films, Peeping Tom, twice back to back when I had flu:)

Tomato soup dripped over mashed potato, and lemon and honey drinks. Colds are not caused by the cold. But by the virus that seem to attract those who are feeling a bit down. Make sure you have a window open. Have a bath rather than a shower. Listen to some audiobooks. Dads Army volume 15, We know our Onions, Dead Ringers, Billy Connolly. Anything that makes you laugh, is a good thing. Of course a Doctor will say bedrest. But if you must go to hospital, go private. The NHS will simply make you worse. There is an old saying: You go in to the NHS with a cold. You come out with pnemonia.

If you have a tv in your room with a dvd player. watch cartoons and I would reccomend some 80's classics like He Man, Dogtanian, Raggy Dolls, and Bodger and Badger. If you have phnemonia, then see a doctor who might prescribe anti biotics. But do all of the above aswell.
