Yea, Florida uses the 72 hour "Baker Act" for all kinds of off-label shit. Just about the only people who don't get Baker Acted are mentally ill homeless people.

Again, there's a reason that state is shaped like that.

What's important is the Florida police officer was fired for arresting the 6-year-old girl and using a zip tie on her wrists.

What I suspect is he was fired for sheer stupidity.

 

Only because he was caught. The real problem is the pathology that led to a child abuser getting and keeping a badge. Surely this wasn't his first abusive act. Bring back flogging.

I'm a little annoyed at what i just read.
Why would you even enrol your kid at a mainstream school when the staff have a bad reputation when it comes to child abuse?
People were saying how they thought it was ok for a cop to arrest a little kid.
It's not ok. If anything it's discrimination as the kid had some sort of special needs issue.
Have seen kids with autism get abused by so many teachers and bus drivers that it's not funny.
It just tells me that those adults that do this sort of thing need to get some education on how to handle kids with special needs.
Some mainstream schools really need to pull their heads in or they will end up being sued by the student's parents.

 

While I don’t want to give any credence to phrenology and it’s link to human behavior, the cop does look like a Neanderthal...lol...

 

The school looks like they don't know how to handle some kids who have behavioural disabilities.

 

Might be more than a tantrum.
That mother needs to get her kid diagnosed with autism.
That's not a tantrum it's a meltdown. There's a difference.

It was not just one the little 6 year old girl was fingerprinted and mugshotted too !!!

How many people did that involve and as usual zero step up and do the right thing.
