My location says it all. Since moving here a few weeks ago, I've been to the beach more times than I'd gone in the previous 10 years. Yee haw.
Anyone one in North FL want to check out a good band? Xingu They have a gig in Pensacola on Friday and here on Saturday. The web site is down today Xingumusic.com but you can find them on jambase. Bob
pensacola here. and the previous posting is right - "xingu" rocks. they're one of the best bands touring small venues right now. our other favorites include "glass" and "kynda". i just came up from playing with all the kind folks in tampa. that city is too big for a bare-foot country girl like me, but the people are kind, skippers was a really good time, the treasure island drum circle was awesome, and you have a lot more hippies than we do in pensacola! anyone passin' my way drop me a line. see you all at bonnaroo!
I hang out with the old Glass guitar player Rob. He rocks and is playing in a couple new bands here in Tally. I've not seen glass play after he left. Glass keyboard player Rob is also out at the shows. Just think, 3 guys named Rob all standing in the same place at a bar. kynda is out of Orlando? I hope to catch them soon. Stillwood(Tanglewood) is worth checking out. I'm missing roo. Too many people off work from my job that week. I'm going to Wakarusa Music Fest the next weekend in Kansas. Bob
