Flip Flops - Do You Wear Them?

I do keep an emergency pair in the car just in case I'm refused entry somewhere and I can't be bothered to argue (though this happens surprisingly seldom). They are a thin cheap pair I've had for years which are totally fucked and worn out at he heel.

Not "flip flops", but I have many pairs of Adidas sandals. Once the weather gets warmer, if I'm not at work I go everywhere in sandals.

 

Since barefooting in the UK isn't always feasible during winter months, I do wear flip flops and slides upon my feet when venturing greater distances outdoors, such as visiting Asda or Sainsbury's later in the evening (you'd be surprised how many others do the same). My preferences are Havaianas Slims and Adidas Adilette slides.

 

My feet get sweaty on those plastic soles. When it is too cold for walking barefoot I prefer wooden clogs.

 

Your reasons for avoiding plastic/rubber flip flops are the same reasons I avoid wearing them during warmer weather, much preferring to wander barefoot.

Thank you... Shoes (even wooden clogs) are second choice for me as well.

 

Those must the the vintage Dr. Scholls wooden women's sandals. I remember they were quite popular for gals in the 70's. Very nice.

 

Flips are my go to shoe. Chaco vibes are awesome, and I'm tryin out rainbows at the moment. If you get flip flops, get the good ones.

 

Outside of work, I'm either barefoot or wearing flip flops. The cheap Old Navy ones work fine for me. I've been on my feet all day with them with no problems.

 

While I don't like flip flops/sandals very much, if I'd have to wear them, I'd go for the Ho Chi Minh style, just for that cool Vietnam War-aesthetic:

yeah i wear them sometimes. I went out shopping yesterday and i wore the flip flops, Even in the KFC i wore them when ordering food but they came off when i was eating, and Sitting on the bus

 

I wear G-string slippers only during the summer and when going to the beach. The sand is to hot to walk bearfoot

I like flip flops because they are easier to bare your feet with,

Even tho i love taking my shoes and socks off more than taking flip flops off, But Wearing flip flops is more easy

 

No. Flip Flops rubber agains my soles burns. Leather sandals or barefoot. Sometimes shoes. Left foot prints in the hotel lobby.

Yes, I wear flip-flops and sandals. I don't mind wearing them.
Inside: I'm always barefoot.

There's so many ants hills outside. It's crazy what kinds of critters are in my yard during the summer.
