    Pixie,
Calm the fuck down, by "hardcore" I just meant dedicated. As in they aren't one of the people who claims they're a veg while still slipping up occasionally.

As far as how its hard to keep weight on, I'm an athlete, 6foot five, and eat 5-6 full meals a day. This basically means that I need to eat constantly, and its a lot easier to eat enough calories when you aren't limited on things to eat. I could get along fine as a veg, but its just not conducive to my lifestyle.

Anyway, I feel that a limited amount of meat is healthy and as long as you make sure the meat comes from an ethical source, I choose to eat it.

Its really a personal choice on what I feel makes me the healthiest and fits my lifestyle and moral values.

    Peace

I don't think meat comes from any ethical source, at the end of the day animals are killed to produce meat!

Yes. The whole point of being a moral vegetarian is that you believe that killing isn't ethical. Therefore, from a vegetarian's point of view, no meat can be from an ethical source, if it comes from a farm or a hunter.

It is easy to keep weight on or off on a vegan diet in my experience.

i don't drink milk straight up or eat eggs by themselves, does that make me a flexi-vegan?

nope, still a vegetarian. just one who cuts back on the dairy and eggs.
