Flashback psychedelic video

Here's a blast from the past. This flash movie was shown to me about 15 years ago when I was a member of a now defunct marijuana forum. I watched this movie for the first time while coming down from a mushroom trip.

It's a very trippy video that I suggest watching while on a hallucinogen.

Thanks to this video, I was able to discover the incredible sounds of Shpongle.

 

So, I guess I shouldn't watch it, then.

 

Yes I remember this video, I recall thinking of it as a watershed moment in web music videos.

I had heard Shpongle prior to this but I believe this came before youtube, so aside from visualizers, the concept of syncing music to videos, particularly in such a psychedelic respect was quite novel. I turned some friends on to Shpongle with this vid.

 

I prefer landscapes such as this to be psychedelic..

Yes this definitely came before Youtube. I think the first I saw this was 2004. I think this was viewable with RealPlayer or Quicktime back in the day. Before Youtube, I was watching flash animations on Newgrounds.
