That's understood Skip, but what if someone politely says, "If you don't like the way this country is being run then why not try living somewhere else?" This question gives us the opportunity to point out that loving one's country does not mean blind allegiance. We Americans who oppose the Bush administration will exercise our right to dissent; this does not make us unpatriotic. Freedom of speech includes the right to speak against government policies, to stay and try and make this a better country rather than give up and leave. Let them speak their minds as well, as long as they do it politely and respectfully.
