First day of the new boot camp cycle. We have a few new people this time so that's nice. It's also nice that there is a group of us who have been doing this together for a good while so we're all kind of friends now and there is camaraderie, giving each other a hard time, etc. But the new people all know at least a couple of the others so they don't seem to feel like outsiders.
A phrase that I first heard on the Tough Mudder site that I now use as kind of a mantra and for motivation....."Nobody is better than their best, but your best will make you better!"
I have been eating terribly still until today lol. I actually went out and bought some ground beef, chicken, spinach and guacamole for the week. So hopefully I can get back on the not shit diet train. I did get sushi with a buddy last week and am getting it with my bro tonight though i think
I am happy to hear you say this. Don't worry if you have a slip up every now and again. It can be really hard to break habits. I'm proud of you.
Sushi is so good. I am literally addicted to it. I wanted to order some last night, but my husband talked me out of it.
yea it is so good!!!!! Where I live now, there are sushi palces galore! I just walk to the one down the street, its a bomb little joint !
arby's has buffalo chicken sliders? i'm not going to watch the review, but it already sounds amazing.
What is your favorite thing to order from there? Do they deliver? There is a place close by here that delivers. It's a fucking dangerous service to have in this area, I tell ya. So easy to get sushi to my door within 30 minutes.
I usually get the sunkist rolls which is spicy tuna, salmon, cucumber, avocado and a spicy sauce. sooo good. they do deliver but i just walk since its less then half a mile from my house
Omg I feel so lazy now! Although my sushi place is about one mile away and at the top of a big hill, but I could still walk and pick it up. Maybe I'll start doing that, now that it's nice out.
It's been a while since I posted here. Im a sloth in the winter and then forgot about this thread. I worked the last few days at the boat place and count that as a workout. Lots of lifting heavy things and running around. I have also been paddle boarding a lot. Also, we moved our exercise bike upstairs into the living room in front of the TV so everyone in the house has been using it a LOT more! My brother just moved into an apartment building with a really sweet gym in it too (I actually used to live in that building)! I have a standing invitation to go use it whenever I want, I just need to find some time soon. Currently sitting here rubbing my very sore legs though...
Upper body tonight. Did drops sets on bench, and heavy sets of overhead press and rows. Ended the session with high volume curls to get a good pump going.
i don't know. i'm kind of in the same situation; since boating season started i've been too busy with the boats to have a legitimate workout, but i still don't feel right counting it. my muscles have gotten visibly smaller, and the few times i do get to lift some weights, i can barely even pick up what i'm used to lifting easily. i will admit my small belly fat has gotten even smaller, but i've basically gone from having muscles and a little belly to just being a skeleton.
