    I haven't been seriously lifting for like 2-3 years now. I've hardly been to the gym at all the past 8 months

    Idk.. Depression, lack of motivation/energy, to much work.. All of the above?

    I've slowly started to get back into it but idk how long it'll last

    Depression? I didn't know you've been depressed. I'm sorry to hear that. My twin sister suffers from really deep depression, it's been hard on her lately.

    Do you find sometimes that the endorphins you get from exercise, help with the depression?

    It's okay to take breaks from working out. It gives the body a chance to fully recover. I've taken several months off at a time before.

    Yea it sucks, but whatever. I have a few "friends with benefits" or whatever u call it and people always ask me how I can be depressed if I'm getting sex. lol. life ain't all about that.

    Yea exercise can better my mood. I've just been in a huge funk the past year or so dealing with life/work problems.

    I remain pretty positive though for the most part

    Life ain't all about sex, you're right. Have you had a history with depression? Have you thought about talking to someone and maybe going on medication?

    That is good that you are doing your best to stay positive. I find having a positive attitude in general greatly improves my quality of life. I can't stand negativity. I'm also a firm believer in doing what makes me happy, and in one case that meant quitting my job (I'll admit, impulsively) because I was working shift work with some really terrible people and it was making me miserable.

    My current location for my Job is fucking horrible. Luckily I have a good reputation and have made good connects so I'll be transferring soon, again.

    I haven't had a history with depression, no.

    No medication for me, I need to change my lifestyle.

    Well, exercise as much as you can, and do things that make you happy. That should help. Fingers crossed you don't have to wait too much longer for the transfer.

    It’s hard to get too warm this time of the year because the ocean temperature is 38 F so even the slightest sea breeze will drop the temp like a rock.

    Another thing is, my joints hurt pretty fucking badly. Even when I didn't exercise for months at a time. Could be from to much slouching around and computer usage. And bad diet. I've started stretching recently, my muscles are so tight

    And yea I should find out this week one of my options :)

    Can you go to yoga or a stretch therapy class? Or get a massage? Maybe one of your fwb girls will give you a massage?

    Also, what's your diet like? I've heard that eating lots of fruits and veggies can help with joint pain, and to stay away from red meats,

    My lady friends have been annoying the fuck out of me, so forget them.

    I've literally eaten nothing but fast food for 5 straight months

    Actually, for the better part of two years I've mainly eaten nothing but fast food. I think I'm addicted. I did eat some stuff I cooked duke myself but since I've moved last year literally nothing but fast food.

    I should probably stop that

    Probably. I don't even remember the last time I had fast food. Why not do more cooking at home? You'll probably save money, and I'm certain you'll feel better. Your joints will probably stop hurting as well.
