3 hours on the bike.. about 45 miles. low gear, high rpm. going slow but pedaling fast helps build capillaries. in two days i'll do 100 miles, then another day like today, then a day going up and down a mountain hard over and over again. nbd. i'm only riding hard enough to make some money doing it.
My normal fitness routine is a workout, bicycle every day and running every other day. I sprained a muscle on the back of my knee, so I guess I will take a couple days off. Hopefully, I didn't seriously injure it.
2 and a half hours surfing this morning.. finally starting to catch some waves. Shortboarding is way harder than longboarding :0
I'm the second from the front. There's some good surf in Croatia, you should get into it - insanely fun :sunny:
I have just started using an exercise bike - what a great way to burn calories! I am still reeeeally unfit, so don't laugh at me - but I did 25 mins on the lowest tension alternating between 19-26km ph. Then I did 35 mins on the treadmill alternating between 6.1-6.5 km ph. I know it's lame - but it's keeping my burning calories, and I will keep getting better.
Any exercise is something to be proud of . Just because that may not be difficult for some, doesn't mean you didn't challenge yourself. So, yay for you!
I forgot to bump for my two hours of speed skating/dancing on my skate date Friday night. Fun and a good workout! My legs are still sore.
Did my usual full body workout cept for deadlifts. Usually do two sets of ten with 245. Only did one of five. Got lazy but whatever. Did most of it
3 hours on the exercise bike watching the Twilight Zone marathon because its way too cold to even consider biking outside - Partly Cloudy 13° F :freezing: Hotwater
I took the day off as it's NYE. And I NEVER like to skip my workouts. So instead I am taking in mad calories from food and alcohol.
Did 100 regular squats and 100 plie squats yesterday. Nothing yet today, but probably going to do kettle bells and treadmill after my dinner settles.
I ice skated for the first time yesterday! Oh my god! I fell over 3x and on the third fall bruised one of my knees so bad! I looked like a total spazz for the first 15 mins, hugging the fence as I inched my way around the rink. Then I was able to skate around as long as I was holding my boyfriends hand. Unfortunately there were a lot of children racing around the rink not looking where they were going - that made crashes pretty common! But yeah you are right about the soreness. My arms and legs ache like nobody's business!!!
Lol!! That's pretty much how I was when I started roller derby, except I had lots of gear on. I was like a baby giraffe on skates for the first month.
I workout for 40 mins on the elliptical trying too build myself up really want to eat better and workout almost everyday for the new year
