8 mile bike ride, 3 miles dirt, 5 pavement + lots of fresh Rocky mountain air and sunshine! Good for the mind and bod. http://destinationmissoula.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/mountain-biking.jpg
Aha! Thanks for clarifying, would not have guessed that soon I was thinking you were on the east side for some reason... Or are you travelling?
No, not currently traveling. It is silly to leave Van this time of year, unless it is to go camping in the woods or something (which we will be doing lots of as soon as my husband is finished work for the summer)
Yeah, being Canadian is awesome! I went stand up paddle boarding for a couple hours today. It's not an intense workout, but it does some good core and arm strengthening. I want to try hula hooping on it tomorrow!
I've only done stand up paddle boarding once, and I LOVED it. It is a great core workout, and tons of fun. You should definitely try and hula hoop on the board, and get someone to take a picture of you!
I think I started hula hooping about 3 years ago or so. I really love it! I'm still not great at shoulder hooping though.
Oh, I am nowhere near the shoulder hooping level. I can do a few lifts and some other, very basic tricks.
i recently met someone who has done stand up paddle board yoga. i don't know, just staying in a standing position on a paddle board takes a good majority of my concentration.
I saw a video of yoga on a stand up paddle board and wanted to try it. Too bad I have never done yoga before. I doubt a paddle board would be a good place to start.
Yea lol, most people can't even stand up on a paddleboard with a regular stance, let alone a yoga pose.
Ok I tried hula hooping on a paddle board today. Not graceful at all but it made for some awesome pictures anyways! I'll post a pic when I get home later.
There you go, SUP hoola hooping! The pictures make it look like I was doing a lot better than reality...
