Are you a bro, or do you just like to sound like one?

Spent two hours tonight on the major compound lifts, and followed up a few sets of heavy squats with a few sets of heavy deadlifts.

Several sets of bench press, incline bench press, bicep curls and rows, too.

Mad pump, bro. I be swole.

Tried some exercises out with a dumbell out home, then helped some guy move
I think moving all the furniture was a much bigger workout :D but either way, feels good

I really don't concern myself about how much weight is on the bar, but man I do like when you have to add weight to compound lifts every few weeks. still getting noob gainz as they say.

deadlift went up 20lbs, got it for 8 reps...once I hit 10-11 going to add another 20lbs.

I'm really working on dumbbell shoulder press, about to get to 55lbs, which is great (for me)

squats are going up every week

    Question,

how do you guys and gals track progress? I'd like to hear

i don't really. i have a good memory for numbers, and i don't vary my workout as much as i really should, which means there's fewer numbers to remember. so basically, i know what i lift for each exercise, and when it gets to be too easy i just add a little weight.

same Undies, I just remember the weight after doing the same lifts week in and out...though you can't knock the people with pads of paper tracking even the amount of sweat that rolls of the brow.

I used to track it on my phone using the notepad when I was serious.

Now that I'm a lazy worthless piece of shit who barely lifts I just try to remember in my head

They were all just standing around pulling each other's cocks weren't they? So typical of the gym. As long as you're standing around watching and yapping, it's like, the energy feeds into these folks and they somehow walk out an hour so later having done nothing and then they go online and talk about how great their session was.

This is one reason gyms are fucking lame. Just invest in a power rack or work bench and some Olympic plates and a bar. That's really all you need anyway since the focus in building strength should be on the big compound lifts. You're going to end up spending a few hundred bucks max, and that's for new equipment. It's worth it. You'll end up spending way more money on gym fees over time.

Gym fees are atrocious. That's why I can't understand why a lot of people use them, especially for simple exercise. Like go for a walk. Gravity and friction make it a better workout for you than a treadmill. -.-

I get weights. Not everyone has weights or the money or the room for them, but anyone can go for a jog or a walk.
