Circuit training again today. Really poured it on at the end to see how far I could push it. My son went with me today too. He's been working out the entire time I was hurt. He was gassed about halfway through the class.

Someone once told me that you shouldn't run for a day or two after working on legs because it takes away from the leg workout. I have no idea if that's true or not.

That's partially true. You shouldn't do the same exact leg exercise 2 days in a row because the muscles need time to recover. I work my legs almost every day, but in different ways. I generally rotate skating, running, stairs, and squats/lunges. :)

Bump for speed interval training. 2 minute sprints, 1 minute jog x30 minutes. I'll also be adding on 300 lunges, but I break them up throughout the day.

    Tried the Waterwalking class yesterday.
It seemed like a waste of an hour, definitely not cardio but I did have a hard time walking up the stairs to get home, so at least it did something.

I love working out with the geriatrics. They're too much fun and don't give a shit about anything.

Did my circuit training yesterday. I have arms today and I might try to get a legs workout in since I will have to miss tomorrow.

Didn't get around to legs tonight. :( Just one of those nights where several people seemed to be doing the same things at the same time so you're waiting.

    fitness for what?
i exercise my mind every moment i am awake.
even at times when i am asleep.
though i also must allow it to rest at times, to refresh itself, and permit my body to sleep.

That's your opinion. There's nothing wrong with wanting to take care of and improve your body.
