I am in the same situation and am worried about starting to clone. The plants I have are very sentimental. They were cloned and started by a good friend who died and I cant let them go.

They are around 9 weeks old have started to bud . I have rockwool, clonex and a little unsterile soil. I have the books and have read the posts but still scared!
I have 1 400w bulb and none of the humidity tent or underneath lighting stuff. Can I cut a stem thats already budding because nost stems have a nice big bud starting?

Success rates of clones from a flowering plant are low, slow, and a no no.Reveg the plant then take cuttings from, you will have a much better success rate.merry Xmas
