first time at a nude beach/ erection

I would just like to say I have been a nudist all my life and have only ever had 2 erections both on a beach.They are not as common as some people think.

 

Just a quick update ; Went to Playlinda last week. No gf , just myself. Went to play in the rip. A very active tide , cooler temps. Upon leaving ocean , I was harder than chinese math ; go figure. Cold and slightly embarrassed ; I returned to my "area" , folks were very friendly , smiling and waving. LOL. I waved back. Ha. No worries. Just to add while leaving for the day I did notice a moderately attractive woman masturbating in a semi secluded area. Once again , fond memories from the FL Space Coast.

 

This is the most common concern among men. However, we do not know of anyone who actually had an erection on their first visit. The combination of the non-sexual environment and the unfamiliarity of a first-time visit serves to minimize the issue. An erection is a natural part of life. Naturists realize this and will not take offence as long as it is not being flaunted. If an erection does occur, a strategically placed towel, a dip in a cool pool or rolling over on your stomach will take care of it.

 

I was visiting a nudist club once and a boy, maybe eight or nine, came out of the swimming pool with an erection. A nearby middle-aged woman saw him and screamed "You're not supposed to have that here!" One of the parents came and quickly whisked him away.

One of the other women went to her and gave her a scathing criticism, which I felt was completely justified.

Let's all be adult about this! Erections happen, even to older guys who would not choose to have one at the moment! Let's accept it and get on with our lives!

Once you're used to nudity, erections become less of an issue.

 

Why should one be required to hide an erection at a nudist resort? I've been to local nude beaches and nudist resorts and have gone off for walks & sometimes I get an erection. I'm not near my towel, nor do I have anything I can cover it up with. Because of this "rule", when I get an erection in a situation like that, I can't return as planned to the area where I have my towel and other stuff. What am I supposed to do?

 

Todd, it happened to me during a volleyball game and also at a dance. I just sat down for a minute or two. No one judged me. Later, I got back in the game and back to the dance. Not a problem.

People are looking at your attitude not the erection itself. You'll be fine.

 

I don't see why erections are such a big issue. I get them at nude beaches all the time. It's a compliment to others that you find them attractive. I just keep walking around with my big penis sticking out.

Exactly though they can happen spontaneously (not often) there is no need to flaunt them. Flaunting an erection as described would be seen as potential threat and never as a compliment.

 

When you feel it building up, that's the best time to excuse yourself for a few minutes. In my case, the motion from a vigorous game of sand court volleyball was the cause rather than seeing an attractive woman. Volleyball doesn't always lead to erections, our bodies have cycles and what triggers it one day won't necessarily have the same results another day.

 

That's precisely the dilemma. By excusing yourself you're drawing attention to the fact that you developed an erection. Nude beaches & Nudist resorts are supposed to be places where people are accepted in all colors, ages, shapes and sizes. Since erections aren't necessarily sexually induced, there shouldn't be an issue if they occur in that situation.

 

Because the probability of these erections being involuntary is very high , nature seems to be in control. A true naturist could only appreciate the the beauty of both male and female "attention".

 

A penis is just a penis, but an erect penis, regardless of the cause of the erection, sexualizes the atmosphere. Male sexuality, much like unwanted sexual attention, can be received by some as threatening. In a non-sexual situation, it is polite to cover the erection.

There are times during the month when my vaginal secretions are more plentiful, and can even drip. If I start to leak in a nude social situation, I pardon myself, rinse off, and if necessary, put on panties until I'm not so wet. The lubrication isn't brought on by arousal, but just pretending its is okay to just walk around with juice all over my vulva and thighs would be inconsiderate. So I don't.

I don't understand how anyone can say they are walking around without a towel. The first thing I was told the very first time I was invited to hang out at a nude camp was to keep a towel nearby at all times, always sit on my own towel, and my husband was told to hold a towel in front of him if he got wood. The only people I have ever encountered at these places who didn't seem to think they should cover a hard on were not exactly winning popularity contests. Two of them I know from Haulover, though not by name. When I spoke of them to some other regulars, there was a lot to hear about the one, and laughter and knowing nods about the other, despite the fact that his erection was quite sizeable, because he likes to lean against a pole, sticking it out. Show-offs make people uneasy. The guy I heard an earful about liked to follow women around leering. A third I ran into in a place in Loxahatchee, I think. He kept pestering me. Like I owed him attention just because he can get it up. Ew.

It's just good manners to fade into the background and cover up for a bit, just like it is good manners to wear clothes in a hotel lobby. Pretending the rules don't apply to oneself is anti-social behavior.

 

What are the rules regarding erect males at nude beaches? Where are they posted? I fail to see how a hotel lobby and nude beach are even close in comparison. Not all beaches are as crowded a Haulover. Playalinda for example , allows for a lot of distance between people. It would be very hard to spot a woodie unless you were very close.

 

Todd, at the time I just said, "I need to take a break". No excuses, no apologies, no one offended and it could have been for any number of reasons.
By the way, I didn't develop an erection, it was only beginning and I returned to the game after a few minutes, when I calmer.

Nudist beaches and resorts are usually great places to take the family and enjoy natural fun. Once in a while someone is there who shouldn't be. If that happens there are ways of dealing with them.

Too many people worry about this stuff needlessly.

I think this "no erections" rule is a relic from the early days of nudism.

I go to the nude beach with my lady all of the time. We've been together 5 years, and I still love to watch her naked around the house, or walking around in skimpy panties. She doesn't shave or even trim her bush at all, so her hair is always peeking out from her panties. I've done this a half dozen times, probably seen by hundreds of passers by, and no one has acted the least bit offended.

Now, this would probably be quite different if I was alone, and walking around trying to attract attention to myself - I could see people being uncomfortable with that - but for me to be hanging out with my lady on our own blanket, drinking wine, playing cards, why would someone care if I was hard?
