First-of-its-kind material for the quantum age

This is another example of how close they are getting to proving reality is stranger than fiction. What they don't mention is that a system that is in two quantum simultaneously should also clarify how time crystals work, as well as, topological quantum mechanics. It could be these researchers run into the same problem I've seen repeatedly, where they hit a dead end that just contradicts all their theories. Basically, they are slowly discovering, in my opinion, that the reason the laws of physics are what they are is because, if they were any different, nobody would be around to ask the question.

Indeed. Perhaps consciousness isn't a thing that developed, but rather a thing that has always been. And this universe we're apart of, and oddly superficially try to separate ourselves from, as well as each other, is that consciousness.

This kind of fundamental discovery has become extremely commonplace, and this particular one could even be related to another recent discovery that cosmic whirlpools obey the Schrodinger equation. For me, its just obvious that they are closing in on the supersymmetry of nature, and physicists are steadily ruling out all the possible alternatives, not because that's the best way to do it, but its what they know how to do and they learn a lot in the process. How light behaves with this material could be eye-opening, because we still don't fully comprehend how light works and are now able to even create "light matter" hybrid or whatever.
