My first rock gig was Travis abt 3 yrs ago. It was their 3rd night in Glasgow for their ' invisible band' UK tour and it was great fun!! They used the background screens as a PS2 screen and got a member of the audience to come up and play it while they played one of their songs! That was so much fun!! They were really good live, but maybe a little too small for the SECC! lol. The next gig after that was Korn - I only went coz i was interested and my friend ( who was meant to be going instead of me) had broken her leg and obviously couldnt go. Shame! ( note the sarcasm!!)
My first live show was Deep Purple & Nazareth... promoting "Burn" and "Hair of the Dog" respectively. I was there to see Deep Purple of course. That was back before the days of assigned seating, and was able to get right up front and center too. But I remember while walking though all the peeps on the floor with blankets all spead out and stuff I accidently knocked over someone's blue acrylic bong... I was like "sorry man... I'm really sorry". They didn't say anything but the dude still looked at me like "you dick!". Someone probably had to make a trip back to the water fountain. Ahh... those were the days of concert going. After Nazareth was finished... my best friend goes "is it over?" Ha-ha-ha! We all laughed and were like, hell no! The best is yet to come. ~Seven
I've never been to a concert . My parents just aren't the type of people who would let me go to a concert. I was planning on going to the Bob Dylan concert on September fourth but sicne I got caught smoking I doubt they'll let me go. Big un-happy face .

So, what was the Polyphonic Spree like in concert? I haven't really "gotten into" them yet (I got their C.D. "Together We're Heavy" just yesterday) but I find them very intriguing.
My first concert my dad took me too was Bad Company and Ted Nugent, but we left early cause my dad didnt like the fact that the only word Ted ever said was mother fucker haha, My favorite concerts were Mars Volta ~ Electric Factory 2003? The Dead ~ e center 2004 Tool ~ 2003
Hey, I was at the same Bowie concert as Is This It? and Polyphonic Spree are amazing in concert...I did not know who they were before that show and I was completley taken back by them...very beautiful, sounded great too! My first concert was when I was 12 my sister took me to see Treble Charger, Gob, and Eve6. It was just at a little club with not to many people and I had so much fun! My first "real" big concert though was THE WHO on my 15th birthday...wow!

When I was in grade 8 I went to a terrible local concert and a Bif Naked concert with Liveonrelease. First two concerts...I think...I can't really remember though. Let's just say they were.
Yep, just as Alex (wastingthedawn) says, they were very beautiful. Very nice sound! I'm glad they opened instead of Macy Gray!
