    when smoking a bowl or bong does it ever catch fire? and stay on fire even when u take the lighter off?
    its so cool when this happens

    Yeah...unfortunately that's not a good sign...it most likely means there is chemical residue left over from un-cured/dried bud... same thing if your bud snaps and crackles when you light it... basically means the grower didn't know what he was doing..

    what if it means your hitting it hard and theres lots of oxygen getting to the bud? cause i mean, that does happen.....you are holding a piece of fire up to it and drawing air into the mixture....

    but ive done that quite a few times.....freaks me out

    That's happened a few times actually, and only when I'm really baked. I remember the time I burnt my nose while smoking a really tiny glass piece...I was smelling burnt hair for days.

    its not always a bad sign...

    sometimes its just a stem and you holding a lighter over it for so long.
     
  6. i had weed one time that when i smoked it it had an effect like when you light gun powder

    Did it do that every time you smoked (like if the bowl was cherried)? Or could it maybe have been flecks from the flint of the lighter you were using?
