I went camping this weekend and the regulation says your fire has to be in a metal bucket. I am imagining it is so there is not a lot of fire pits everywhere but I still dont like it. When I make a fire, I want to make a fire, A huge bonfire..gather up all the rocks from all around and build a nice ring and then throw everything that burns in the middle of your circle. Pour gasoline on top of it all and then launch something in the middle to ignite it. an WooooOOOOsh, you got your fire started..need at least a truck load of firewood to do this. but anyway, the fire in the bucket you cannot do the above, it is a few sticks, very controlled,..very lame..what am I gonna do? burn down the desert? it is already burnt..everything is jagged there, scorpions, rattlesnakes, barrel cactus, hot sand, sand spurs,
Get a big bucket. I have a mobile fire pit in which I've had huge bonfires. But there's a difference between going camping and going to a bonfire. Do you really need such a fire while camping in the desert?
it is becoming winter and it was windy..I just got to buy a huge steel bucket I guess..transpo of it will suck
