I finished this painting today... i think. I always have a hell of a time walking away from a piece and saying "Yep, this is 100% finished". I look at it and think "mmm... maybe this could be a little different?". Anywho, just have to finish edging it, and it's finito!

    thanks.

Lately I have been doing more craft-type shows... trying to raise enough funds to move home! But I have a "show" on the 11th and 12th here in the Cincinnati area. Last year I sold 2 paintings at it, so I hope to do well!

Very wicked cool Iced T! i like the idea of putting it on 2 cavases. U kinda stole my idea, but before i did it. Cause i found 3 stretched canvases i used for my painting class a whiles back, but each one is only like 14"x18". So thought of doing something that spans across all 3, like a kinda centralized theme that progresses from panel to panel... any who... u have got lots of talent...

I think those gradiating purples are outta dis world... like seriously... and how the petals arent all the same shade, like a couple in the top left are kinda warm-ish-er/pink-ish-er,,,, and then the pointing towards 9 o'clock is really solid & bold purple...

Oh and i've got great news... I earn 47$ today workin at a temp agency, and im gonna go spend it on tubes of oil paint whoo hoo!!!!!

There is certainly a sort of "bold" feeling to it... I like it a lot.
