Finally got around to starting my dreads

Also, there are as many varieties of dreads as there are wine, and both get better with age.

hey! you live in cha-town! i live in greensboro...

 

awesome! I have friends in/from Greensboro. =) 2 hour drive still, but not that far. I've been trying to spread around the name Crown-Town for Charlotte, but its not catching on much lol.

 

lol. it's not a 2 hour drive if i'm the one driving. i went to uncc my freshman year. don't really like charlotte much. but, i do love uptown and the fountains.

 

I'm not a fan of NC or the south in general... I was supposed to be moving out west at the end of this year, but the economy pretty much put that idea off for at least another year, so I'm making the best of it.Charlotte is probably the most tolerable place around here though. If I had a choice to live anywhere in NC, I'd prefer the beach, but its a little hard to live there. Pretty much dead during the winter and then there's hurricane season.

then here's some pics I just took a few mins ago... excuse the way I look, I just got off of work at 7 and I haven't dyed my roots in a couple months. It's been 2 days short of a week since I started my dreads.

don't wash them for a long long time... theyll prolly fall out if you do.

I've actually already washed them twice since last friday... they're in there.

 

will be re-dyeing the roots white in about 3 or 4 months, but for now I'm just gonna let them do their thing.

 

that third pic is somehow disturbing, but oh well I guess its just me

dreadlets look ummmm like backcombed hair really I will be honest, but Im curious to see how they will turn out theys look extremely thin
