finally found you old hippies!

The spirit is still around....it's just gone underground for a spell. But it will return...."to every thing there is a season".....

 

it is so good to find you all, on most of the websites i write on i am always the oldest. good to be with other flower children again.

I just enjoyed reading all the posts on this thread and it so heartwarming to know that the hippie generation still lives on. I was a gushy-eyed 14 year old at Woodstock and left the farm a much wiser and gentler soul. Woodstock changed me and I haven't forgotten the great vibes and groovy people I met. The problem is that eventually we have to live in a world full of corporate greed and conservative agendas that fail most of us. The only thing that nobody can take away from us is our Woodstock spirit. It lives on forever within us and all we have to do is listen to the music of the era and remember where we came from and how much farther we have to go. Wouldn't this be a nicer world if the idioits in charge would just lighten up and smoke a little grass, drink a little wine, and make love?
