This game is really overrated..like big time. Don't take me wrong, I have played this game, finished and enjoyed it a lot! But there's too many people that find this game too perfect. It's very good but I have played better rpg's.

Im tied on FF 7 and 8. Both times when the game ended I didnt want it to. Just bought a new copy of 8 not to long ago, had the same copy of 7 for years, cuz I wont let nobody borrow that game anymore.
Definitely great, wouldn't say greatEST. Sorry, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Chrono Trigger.
I just hope that they rerelease it in finer form. I know that the game's designer has said that he was not entirely happy with the quality of the original, and since they released that tech demo for the PS3, and it just so happened to be FF7 they chose, my hopes are high that they'll rerelease it. I think that there is real potential there, and don't think they'll have a problem selling it. My original game is fucked beyond repair, it looks like someone took a hammer to it. FF7 has the most insane and in depth plotline of any game I've ever known. That alone makes it worth more than most new games out there.
