They're equally good, the film's ending is better and Brad Pitt was the perfect Tyler Durden. Don't listen to haterz.
Damn. I was hoping we were starting up our own "Fight Club". I wanted to kick the crap out of a few people.
I've never read the book, but I've read other Chuck Palahniuk's novels. I don't favour him as an author.
Have you read Haunted, and Invisible Monster, those are my favorite of his, Haunted for sure... I enjoy him as an author, those two works of his were better then Fight Club I thought...
I saw an interview with Palahniuk with George Stroumboulopoulos. He still goes to writing classes and meets in writer's clubs to keep himself focused and engaged in writing. His stuff has always been sort of a work in progress for me when I read them. Meh.
Hahaha, you would like that one. I actually hated Haunted. I thought I would like Comrade Snarky and relate to her character but I was disappointed with the lack of character development in the overall of that book. It was supposed to be funny and simultaneously dark - but all I got was mediocre crisp humour and shock value.
Fitzy doesn't enjoy movies where the guys aren't really buff. Sure, CarrotTop wasn't funny before. But look at him now!
i love fight club completely. i enjoyed pitt's body in it, as well, since lean, hungry and whiplike was the crux of pitt's psyche. and he's just always gorgeous to me. and ed norton, always hot to me, and i love his acting...there isn't a scene of that movie i don't enjoy.
Ed Norton's my top teir of favorite actors. One day I'll have Ed Norton act in my movies. And I'll have him shake his 80 year old ass for the part.
I liked him in Primal fear and rounders and keeping the faith, but that's probably about it.. Definitely like him better than brad pitt...
there's that scene in keeping the faith when he's dreaming about having sex with that chick...man...wow...
