I'm not being sexist, I'm being realistic. It's true that women's fertility begin to dwindle (usually) by their mid to late 30s. Men have a biological advantage as they continue to make productive sperm deep into their 50s if not later. I want to be a father someday, and I'm at that age where I would rather date women of a more fertile age. Once I've accomplished that milestone, and if and only if get divorced, I may have broader horizons toward unfertile women. How come? You're not a MGTOW (Man groping his own wiener) are you?
How come? Because it's a blanket statement that needs to be qualified is how come. But you already knew that, so cut the shit.
Ok, so it's YOU who needs to secure a woman. Figured as much. Could've just said that right out of the gate instead of nonsense about women securing a man before 35. It just makes you look insecure. Which makes sense, since you are.
Ok so what? Just because there's exceptions out there like isolationists who want nothing to do with human interaction. That doesn't mean statement that men and women need each other doesn't bear any truth whatsoever. I'd rather men and women get along, rather than be at each other's throats. I don't need to secure a woman until my 50s until my sperm makes retarded babies. I just want to.
It's possible for men to interact with other men. It's possible for women to interact with other women. So, for basic human needs in terms of being a social animal, men and women need other people, not the opposite sex specifically. Ergo the statement 'men and women need each other', as a blanket statement is false. You'd need to qualify it, for example: Men and women need each other for procreation. See? Yet you still need to. Not even sure what your point is except an excuse to say retarded babies. Which I totally understand and give you credit for.
Hmm it seems that my heteronormative word choice has gotten you into a tizzy. Yes indeed, homosexuals don't need the opposite sex to find love. But doesn't that go without saying? I mean, I known plenty of gay men in my time who love being in the company of other women, and they make great companions. Seems to me like having a healthy interaction of both genders makes for healthy human relationships regardless of one's sexual preference. Shouldn't it?
My only point is the blanket statement 'men and women need each other' is false. Really odd where you decide to take things.
Seems kinda stupid for two guys to take over a feminism thread so I'm gonna shut my yap now. Good talking to ya 6.
One more thing... Yeah, sometimes. *shrug* You don't? Lol Wait, don't answer that. Huge thread derail.
I'm not a feminist. I hate men but I'm not a feminist. Kidding, I don't hate men. they play an important part in society I'm sure.
Not really when you realize feminism is not restricted to gender. I think if there weren't feminist men at all there would still be a lot more inequality in our societies!
Yeah but there is something darkly ironic about it. Plenty of blow hard males around. Feels boring to add to it. Anyway, quiet down ladies. Men are speaking and we're gonna tell you what you need.
