I went barefoot a lot this summer, wore Birkies when i could not go barefoot. Now that it is fall, and I need to wear shoes more often, my feet are bigger. The shoes don't fit comfortably anymore. I guess that my feet have gotten longer as well as wider. Anyone else have trouble with wearing shoes after going barefoot?
i never noticed a difference. i tend to wear my shoes as loose as i can without them sliding around on my feet anyway, so they probably don't have much of a chance to squeeze my feet.
Att New Barefooters: Take Before And After Pictures To Show How Feet Get Better http://www.hipforums.com/forum/topic/478904-att-new-barefooters-take-before-and-after-pictures-to-show-how-feet-get-better/ Also from that threat it might be interesting to make foot prints and those could be measured before after. So far no one has posted any before and afters but positive results would be a great way to promote barefooting. My footprint changed, not as drastically as the example but more like from the second photo to the third not as much but definitely noticeable.
With being barefoot as much as possible after work and weekends for a few years, I went from size 11 1/2B to 12C. I also lost my ankle problems. Easier to buy shoes too!
Just Passed The 10 Year Mark Full Barefoot, And Yes They Have Spread. Thought I Didn't Own A Pair Of Shoes But Came Across A Pair In The Trunk Of A Car I Was Putting Into Storage. No Way Could I Get Into One, So When And If The Time Comes When I Decide To Wear Shoes Again I Will Certainly Be Looking At A Brand That Does Wide Fittings....... Cheers Glen.
When I started doing Pilates, I did it barefoot and have ever since. My feet went from an 11 medium to a 12 wide. Bare feet are healthy feet!
