I don't feel old at all, but young people seem to be getting younger every year. I'm starting to forget what it was like to not have much life experience.
When I first moved back to the Twilight Zone (where I still reside) and I was 32, I WAS young-ish. I FELT old tho', and said I was "old". Not a single damn solitary soul told me...You aren't old, Lynn! FGS!!! I should have heard that!!! Anyway, now that I'm a little more than twice that age, I don't feel any older than I did then...mentally. It's this dang physical body that is betraying me, what with breaking 3 bones since that time...and my hands wanting to act old sometimes.
I think this is still on topic...since the question of diet and aging has come up. As regards meat in the diet, Gene LeBell, the man who supposedly choked out Steven Seagal sometime around 2002, advocates a diet of raw meat. He is now 81, in 2002 he would have been 70, Seagal 50. So I guess meat can't be all bad.
And just when you take a deep sigh...they have your grandchildren and it starts all over (for some of us).
I'm glad we're turning into a bunch of old fogies. I don't have to change my dated jokes and references to communicate with a younger crowd. Besides a few exceptions This is almost the same RT crowd from 10 years ago we're all just 10 years older.
