But to stay relevent to the thread. Trudeau will pretend to like any group of people if he thinks it'll make him look good. He did it with Indigenous folks, LGBTQ folks and now refugees. He usually even gets some nice photo ops as well. But in reality he subjugates them all to lives of suffering, except for a cherry picked few. Hence why the vast majority of refugees have to cross the border illegally.

I don't get the real distress about the OP. Its about getting immigrants integrated into the canadian job market. A much heared complain is that these immigrants do not integrate (because too little people want immigrant workers with seemingly no fitting background) and cash in on welfare. These people are already there. I guess OP prefers them to stay unemployed and on welfare.

His spending has tripled of that of the previous and he has spent the most money ever, with still a year to go. Money he doesn’t have. He is selling canada! We have no impeachment rights in Canada.

Our healthcare system is failing the people who pay into this service. It is not free. But, the government would have you believe otherwise. Our pension plan, which again Canadians have paid into is also failing. We can not afford to be taxed more and can not sit back and watch as Trudeau, the liberal sell off our resources little by little in order to line their own pockets.

Anyone who believes he has a monopoly on truth and wisdom is the last person who should be empowered to enforce it.

 

The US is the wealthiest country in the world, but twenty trillion dollars in debt thanks to nothing more than a little blue smoke and mirrors. Canada is in the same boat the rest of the world is in with the banks deciding all our politics, including how much we go into debt. In a laze fare economy where the price of freedom has gone through the roof, and we have twenty million illegals in the US, the only way to compete is to burn the candle at both ends. Germany has such powerful unions, that at one point the entire country went on a 30 hour work week, to keep all the machinists employed, and they raked in the cash when business picked up. Boom and bust is life, and corruption ensures the Mafia is sometimes your best friend.

The idea Canada can remain the same under the circumstances is laughable.

The technology that the next twenty years will bring will eclipse the last fifty years, kick start the next scientific revolution, and is already threatening to destabilize the entire world economy. Some 25% of countries are still reliant upon fossil fuel exports for most of their income, while the robots and AI are about to replace everyone.

A recent study concluded that with current AI, it is already possible to replace almost every bureaucrat in DC. while, AI has been called the new Manhattan Project with over a trillion dollars invested in the last year or so alone. They want the fundamental mathematics and physics for a theory of everything, and the shit is about to hit the fan as hard as it is humanly possible. Using the technology we already have, the Navy is no longer making manned aircraft and the Pentagon has plans to put 40,000 drones in the water that can recharge themselves from the water itself like captain Nemo or something. If you want to know our future, its best to pay attention to who has the most toys.

For those who do not live in Canada, you should know that the Toronto Sun is a right-wing tabloid that is not really considered a real newspaper here, other than for their sports coverage.

 

Yeah, I got that from two seconds worth of research, and the disparity between the first paragraph (the "summary" of the situation which is, in fact, bullshit hyperbole) and the third (what is actually going on).

Every time someone posts an article from a source I'm unfamiliar with, I do a little research to see just how biased said source is.

There are three papers that are commonly read in Toronto. National post!, toronto sun and the Toronto star. The sun is in a tabloid format (this does not mean it has articles about bat boy, it is just the format) vs broadsheet format, Doesn’t make its news untrue based an a format.

Do you only read things that you agree with and are close minded to another view or facts? Seems so. Unwilling to read information that other sources, left biased newspapers are unwilling to print because it doesn’t shine a glowing light on an incompetent prime minister! Few papers here do. or reading anything positive about your president?

 

The Globe and Mail is definitely more read than the National Post.
