I'm sick of my Dad, and sometimes when i'm angry, i've often thought about telling him to "pop his clogs" because i'm sick to death of him, but that would be vile and going a bit too far.

Also, supposing my Dad did "pop his clogs", my mum would probably take it out on me or turn against me and tell me how I got what I wanted.

I don't even like him, never mind "love" him, and I hate the way he bangs about as if he's some kind of hardman, and doing things in a quick and abrupt manner.

Also, not bothering to clear up spilt milk off the kitchen surface, flicking lights on and off quickly, banging doors, busting doors open, not shutting doors behind him when he's finished being in the same room as me - Is all this being done by him to make us feel intimidated and scared by him?

If he's in the kitchen whilst i'm in there eating, inside my mind, i'm thinking "Please just hurry up and get out the kitchen", as he makes me feel very uneasy.

If my Dad was no longer around, I personally wouldn't miss him, and would be pleased that I no longer have some man banging about and getting on my nerves.

I really do hate him, and I don't need family counselling or any of that bullshit, and I couldn't give a toss about him, unless he did something stupid that was suicidal or if he died in a tragic accident.

I don't have to get used to it, and i'm sick of him acting as if he's a hardman.

I just knew you'd defend him - Why doesn't that surprise me?

Years ago, I was about 13 or so, I was in a pissing and moaning mood as 13 years olds can do very well.
The persons ear I caught that day was an old family friend Ruth. Ruth was a nurse that had worked in a Psychiatric hospital for 25 years, so she had heard it all.
When I was done or stoped to catch my breath, Ruth took my hand in hers and said, "Dennis, it's a shame you were put on the pot back wards, but I think it's about time you turn yourself around, wipe your ass, flush, pull up your pants and get on with your life..........Thanks Ruth......God bless you...
I've always remembered her words.... Maybe you know who, will get the message.
