The sun has come back out today Though it's February I don't think he'll stay In the midst of this cold dreary time When times are tough the streets filled with crime Amidst bad luck and poor decisions The sun came out and made an impression Like a child finding a prize in a cereal box Or a rabbit escaping the dinner plate of a fox There will be tomorrow and it may be dreary Times will be hard but don't be weary For the sun shines on us today When something in this world smiles at us, a simple thanks we should say
