Fear of nudity turned into desire for it

Maybe others share a similar background. I grew up fearing nudity. If anyone remembers, the comedy culture of the 1970’s and 1980’s made having your clothes ripped off in public into an ultimate form of humiliation. I was terrified that it would happen to me at school. I even had nightmares about it.

My parents were also very judgmental of female celebrities who posed nude in Playboy. I took on my parents views without question.

But suddenly when I went to college I started changing. I remember one day in a Spanish class finding out that the female teacher was going to lead us in a game. I made a “joke” saying we should play “Strip Spanish”, if you got a question wrong you had to take off an article of clothing. A male classmate said, “Dude, I don’t want to see you naked!” Looking back on it now, I don’t think my strip game idea was a joke at all, it was a manifestation of a desire to take off my clothes in public.

I started being nude more in my apartment. One of the interesting things I noticed was that hearing the sound of people’s voices outside of my apartment gave me a jolt of excitement. The voices signaled that another human was nearby and my natural reaction was the desire to cover up, to put clothes on, but I challenged myself to not do that and it felt liberating to stay nude.

What I noticed from being nude was how much more sensual my chest felt. I’m not a scientist so I wouldn’t know why but it felt like my bare chest craved that open air.

Of course another thing I noticed was how it felt for my penis. It’s nothing like when I wear clothes. If I’m nude and walking rapidly I can feel my penis lightly begin bouncing around. That’s a really pleasurable feeling. I can imagine it must feel like absolute heaven to be nude outdoors on a sunny day and feel your penis bouncing around.

And the general stress relief from being nude is amazing. I needed this in high school.

 

so true, a great stress reliever being naked. and outside it's great to feel your penis bouncing around WE enjoy being naked around other naked people, seeing their bodies an showing them ours too

 

Most relaxed and unstressed when nude, I totally agree. And yes a naturally hanging penis feels great.

 

It is truly liberating and empowering. Something the clothing prudes don’t and refuse to accept. Your story is typical of many conservative families. I suggest you push your limits and find someone to be nude with. You have to be you.
We live in a hot climate year round, so my wife and I are nude most of the time.

Harry, I have read the UK has plenty of private nudist clubs/resorts. If that’s true, you should think about spending time at one or two. Find one you like and get to know the people there.
Yes, We spend most of our time in Central America in a Caribbean rainforest. It can be brutally hot, so we do many things naked and take cool outdoor showers. In the states we belong to a clothing optional camp group.

 

I already do,the problem is it's mainly cold and raining

 

I was raised as a super strict prude to the point that my sister was grounded for barely letting a bra strap show on her should while wearing a normal t-shirt, and I was grounded for looking.

Fast-forward to college, and my then-gf loved to force me naked to humiliate me in front of her female roommates (all five of them together could hold me down). Joke was on her, though, because after I was absolutely mortified the first time, I started loving it the second time. (Five women in pj's pulling my clothes off to the point of being completely nude? Aside from the intentions of pretty awful malice that could have led to them getting in very severe trouble, I wasn't going to complain.)
