I'd always loved how Fear Factory combined a feeling and element of man vs machine throughout most of their music, and finally I had thought they'd come to find their sound two albums ago. I'd considered them their best work to date. Well, I think Genexus is their best work yet. All the elements of their refined music are all there for me. The fast double kicking drums blasting about, and when the vocals are opened up, perfecto! And the best as always, it's at its best when it's beating down your ear drums. LOUD! It also ends with a trademark eerily, morbidly beautiful song sure To question ones own mortality.
I always loved Soul of a New Machine I saw FF at the first Ozzfest back in 97, they kick ass in concert. Haven't heard the new one yet.
The new Fear Factory is amazing!!!! Ive been a fan since 1995 and other then Transgression they have never let me down. Im going to be seeing them this Sunday by the way
