yep your gun and your integral safety has nothing to do with that guys gun its good to see youre finally catching on
What is clear is that whether the safety was on or whether the gun had no safety mechanism, it fired and injured someone when he handled it. There is precedent for him to have the gun on his person, off duty or on. But the "reckless" idea holds. His actions, in combination with carrying a loaded weapon, endangered and injured someone. There is a 2004 law concerning off-duty officers, saying they are allowed to carry concealed weapons, however, they may not do so under the influence of alcohol and this law does not supersede state laws permitting private property owners from limiting or prohibiting the carrying of concealed weapons on their property. This would include public bars, private clubs, and places, such as amusement parks. If he had a drink, not even if he was drunk, he's in trouble. And according to other state laws limiting areas to carry weapons, he could face other charges.
Have been around plenty. My neices and nephews all toddled around my house. And show us which ones took place with a GLOCK. Kind of the point of the GLOCK video and none others discussed.
Dont let this distract you from the fact that: In 1994 Helen Tasker dropped an Uzi down the steps, it accidentally discharged killing 5 members of the Crimson Jihad.
when did this thread turn into a glock thread? i see no mention of make or model in the original post
The video posted on a gun safety was a Glock. Promptly responded with how stupid it was an a one year old could discharge it.
Its an assumption that it was a Glock because that's what most law enforcement carries, the video itself doesn't specify. There are many pistols that don't have a safety switch, not just the Glock.
When you don't have the all the facts, people assume shit all the time. Not just the Internet, it's everywhere.
Doesn't matter WHAT KIND OF GUN, it was an irresponsible thing to do. The agent should be reprimanded and forced to take a gun safety course immediately! What really gets me is the way he smiled and walked away, instead of rushing to help the victim. And that is clearly obvious from any of the videos from that incident. That was irresponsible. Also, my family members who are LEO's say that weapon should have been locked up securely before the agent went out drinking and dancing.
