i prefer the world to continue orbiting the sun.

oh you mean me, IN this world. well there's a bunch of places i'd like to see and i've never been to any of them, other then you know, like home movies by people who live there on you tube and so on.

nepal and bhutan, each for their own reasons and with so much potential.
every place where there are narrow gauge passenger trains still running. all the places in eastern europe, and asia, all those little preservationist railways in gt britain like the ffestiniog and the romney hythe and dimechurch. i iike any place with mountians trains and trees. i would love to pay my respects at many of the shinto places in japan, and ride all the wonderful trains they have going there. especially not the shinkansen, but all the little older local ones. especially the ones that serve what areas might be still relatively rural.

basically my going would be to see and ride the trains, especially the narrow gauge ones where there are forests and mountains.

the darjeeling and the simla and that other famous narrow gauge one in india.

i'd like to go all of those places, but then i wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life constantly going to do so either. i'd have to settle on randomly just one or two, and then be able to go home and make models of them. or make my home someplace near ware they are if that were possible.

I'd go to the United Kingdom & try to find my ancestors & their some of their decendants. That part of the world has some amazing beautiful scenery.

get abducted by a pirate ufo and turn around and jack that fucker. my head is in a strange place right now.

no i'm not on an ego trip where i think i could. just one of those kind of thoughts.

especially if the ship was thought controlled and decided it liked me or something.

Free travel and accomodation? That means no cheap and polluting air travel for me. I'd go with a sailboat and my destination would be here. So I can sail around the world :2thumbsup:

Except for Japan those are all on my favourite to visit list as well! Someone else mentioned Bhutan, that could be very interesting too :2thumbsup: But especially Tibet, Norway and old Iran have already intrigued me for years.

It's almost politically incorrect to say this nowadays, but I'm not much for traveling.

I haven't travelled much either last few years. It is unfortunate that flying once a year with a cheap airplane ticket to a beach on the other side of the earth seems the correct thing to do :p If you didn't had a proper holiday destination you will be pitied...:rolleyes:

Either New Zealand or Vietnam, or Ghana.. or India, or Australia... or... just gimme a free pass to every country in the world, and then you can take back the tickets to the countries I never went to.. like Liberia and and other crazy places like that.

i dunno, that decision would take a lot more thought and research than i am willing to do for a thread. there's a lot of places i would like to visit, and ranking them would be a bitch.
