Favourite type of lighter to use

nobody mentioned green bic's. thats all i use. 5 packs come with 2 greens and i just use the other colors when im desperate. green is the best though. my dream is to collect a bunch of green lighters, and when somebody asks me for a light just whip out 20-30 green lighters in a little baggie. i love the green.

 

every type of lighter has a certain purpose for which I use it. Bics I use only to smoke weed and its the only thing (with one exception) I'll use. Cheap clear ones (flick-n-lite or whatever) I used to buy 100 for 5 bucks at costco and when a bum on the streets of midtown stl asks for a light I toss him a lighter and say keep it. The Colibri/Dupont/etc flint lighters are too expensive for my taste. However, i do own two colibri torch lights and one porsche design torch. Those I only use for cigars and I used to use them to light those devil sticks when I smoked cigs. The torch is the only exception to the bic and I'll use one ot light my bowl when I feel very wasteful which has happened once.

 

I represent the bic community. Black bics all the way. For my mini-bic holder, I use a black mini bic with the gold shroud, rather than silver. It just looks cool.

I'm surprised no one from across the pond has brought up Clipper lighters, supposedly they're the best lighter for stoners or something...

 

I am also a fan of the orange bics. It's such a nice shade of orange.

haha, me too. i love bics, or the cheap see-through kind. i cant light zippos, and torch lighters toast your weed.

 

One time we had no lighter so we had to use matches to smoke a bowl.

Yeah I had to do that once... And I HATE the smell of matchese, let alone the taste... I remember once we had a jay and no lighter so my friend ran home and got a book of matches but it was so windy that they all went out before we could light it.. Then we had the brilliant idea of going and buying a lighter....

when i was a youngen we wood always use matches, and honestly u dont get the same high wit matchez

 

lol I had to light my pipe with matches for a week or two....that sucked!!!

I like bics and the little clear ones...but they have to be green...
I also like these gas ones I have that are naked chicks who light up..anyways its got a double flame thats great for any kind of bowl...you just have to be careful or youll burn everything up too quick...

In GA it's considered a tobacco product, so it carries the same age restrictions. The store clerks always check my I.D. to make sure I'm over the age of 18. You can buy matches at any age though, which is just fucking retarded.

 

18, I believe, which is pretty gay but this one mobil I live near sells all tobacco products to minors.

 

Surprisingly, even before I turned 18, I was rarely carded for cigarettes. Now when I go to buy cigarettes, even before I have a chance to say a word, the clerk at the gas station pulls down a pack of Parliaments. That's when you know you're buying cigarettes far too often, haha. As for lighters, I'm not very picky about what kind is used, as long as it's workable. However, most of the time, my friends and I use a Bic. I've only had a Zippo like two or three times to light a dutch.
