Of course all times of the day are good, but I really love early mornings.

This morning I went out at 5.00 am for a barefoot walk around town, there's something really nice about being barefoot at the dawn of a warm summer day.

I love the feel of the cool pavements and the dew on the grass, on the High Street all the hanging baskets have just been watered, leaving pools of water underneath, I always walk through them and leave barefoot prints on the pavement.

The only downside is there are not many other people about, it makes me wonder if the ones who I do see might think I'm out early because I don't want anyone to see me barefoot, which is definitely not the case.

Apart from that it's a great way to start the day.

Night time. I enjoy the privacy of the night, when you can be sure that all the unwanted attention is gone.

My favourite time is probably at night once the dew has settled. It's dark and quiet and all the grass is damp evrywhere.

Don't like when it's wet or damp, or raining. But anytime or anywhere when it's dry.

  10. When it's 30 degrees and not windy, cold ground feels, like Schweppes, "curiously refreshing"!

At the end of the school day. As soon as my work day is over and I'm home I just can't wait to get my shoes off. I usually head straight into the garden with a coffee, even in cold weather.
