I agree the women don't age well, Thalia looks great in the videos, but on stage ooooooooold!
(they must be using body doubles in the videos)

Thalia doing her 'Tina Turna' impression.

well i don't really know anything about mexico now. i knew a bunch of people from there who worked for the railroad when i did.
and i guess a lot of people i see around town all the time have parents or grandparents from there.

a lot of rich and even not so rich people used to move there because it was cheaper to live there, or lord it over people who had less opportunities or something.

i remember when there were a lot of narrow gauge railways in the yucatan peninsula. that interested me.

and the way the capitol, in pre-spanish days, had been built kind of in the middle of a lake

and the stonework up in the mountains

and their own pre-european 'jesus' being a flying snake

    oh and green volkswagon taxis

    and of course food

but you know, this is all stuff i've just seen in pictures and read and heard from people from there

which i don't count as "knowing". just verying degrees of probable.

i wouldn't want to live anywhere that close to the equator though.

i seriously honestly don't like warm climates.

also everything i might like or dislike about any place, changes over time, even where i am in the u.s.

My fave place, chechinitza, amazing! There is a beautiful lake there too, secluded by trees, water is cool!
    The food
    The people
    The climate

    I don't like the 10hr flight!
