I don't have a favourite character as the original series was about philosophical ideas , particularly what it is to be human. One episode where they came across a man who should have been long dead and was living in a utopia, Kirk pointed out humans need boulders in their lives in order to thrive.
I relate to Data. Which I think might be weird? But whatever. I relate to his quest to reach a better understanding of humans. I dont get them either, dearest Data
I didn't realize the actor playing Nog was older than me. I'm 40, he was 50.. That's young! Very sad.
Just finished watching my favorite Nog episode of DS9, It's Only a Paper Moon. His battle with PTSD after losing his leg was very poignant.
I didn't know where else to post this. He had a long and prosperous life. RIP. He played Odo on Deep Space Nine, the beloved shape-shifting security officer. René Murat Auberjonois (/rəˈneɪ oʊˌbɛərʒənˈwɑː/; June 1, 1940 – December 8, 2019) was an American actor and singer.
The only role I knew him as was Odo the shape-shifter, security chief aboard DSN, and a founder. I guess it was time for him to join the great link.- RIP
