depends on the atmospeher i guess. If it's summer and it's barbeque weather (yep, vegetarians can barbeque too ) then a cold beer - monteiths summer, corona with a lemon/lime and mac's gold are my current faves. if i'm in a cocktail mood then a properly made black russian is hard to beat. But gin, tonic and bitters is good too. And this bar down the road from our flat makes the most amazing fresh berry mojitos. and (nice) red wine is great with a meal. I love pinot noir.
