Favourite Classical Pieces?

im not sure to be honest. its on a cd i copied of my dad and dont have any of the details to go with it.

even so i think its a lovely peice of music.

 

Well, to me, there is Beethoven's 9th, and then there's everything else.

Hmmm ... I guess that's not entirely true. I especially like the Bach Suites, the later Mozart symphonies, the Mendelssohn E minor concerto ... on and on, really.

I can't play the 9th very often ... it's too intense. It turns me into a basket case. The first time I heard it in concert, my husband practically had to carry me out of the concert hall. I was so overcome I was sobbing ... people probably thought I was having some sort of breakdown.
