bucking hay, or loading/unloading hundred pound sacks off a truck without a fork lift.
just building big things if you've got the land to build them on.

they're not excuses. everyone has different interests. i find physical bullshit completely boring. and observe lots of people using it as an excuse not to exercise their mind.

Truth be told, having a healthy mind and a healthy body tend to go hand in hand. I find that regularly exercising helps to reduce feelings of depression and helps me to think more clearly.

I was just about to post EXACTLY the same reply. Jane's are great workout machines and mine is still working after 30 years. LOL.

The pull-up bar. Effective, yet simple and elegant in its design.

I agree fully. I get all the physical exercise that I need from walking to work, using the stairs instead of the lifts, unloading deliveries and carrying the shopping home. Both guys and girls who are obsessed with going to the gym, mostly seem to have the mental stamina of Donald Duck.

Dude. I was running on a treadmill earlier this week, wishing that this very thing existed. I can't believe that it does!! When I run outdoors, which I prefer, I can change my speed as needed. On the treadmill, it has always annoyed me that I can't change pace as I get bursts of energy or tire out.

No, I use the kids' monkey bars they have at a nearby playground, close to my place. I usually visit the place during my late hour walks, when all the young ones are gone. I hope I don't have to move house any time soon, because it's a very sturdy frame, well suited for my needs. Would suck to lose such a great, free workout equipment.

As for the girl, no, I don't have one installed in my house either.

Treadmill is the only one i use for when temps dip below 60 F. I use other equipment but they aren't machines.

Yeah, they're rare to find. I think the original treadmill was self powered too. Life is much simpler and better without machines sometimes.

yeah i'm pretty sure my grandma had a self powered treadmill 25 years ago. i hated it, because i just wanted to use it as a toy and the whole self powered thing ruined my ability to do that.

    My Nikes were delivered Friday

I now remember how much I both love and hate running in equal parts

My shoes and my 8 lb weights are my favorite equipment for sure. And my bod.
