*digs out CD* this is virtually impossible! There are so many good songs on there, but my all time faves have to be Goodbye Blue Sky, Run like Hell and waiting for the worms. I don't know why but i just love the chants of HAMMER, HAMMER, HAMMER! When listening to it i feel like a mini dictator. I actually have a Hammer patch that still needs to be sewn on my jacket.
I forgot about Empty Spaces/What Shall We Do Now and Last Few Bricks which are only on the live version. They're awesome. And Outside the Wall sends chills down my spine.
I also like Is there anybody out there... it gives me chills when it comes to the part when they all say: is there anybody out there.
How can it be anything other than the greatest song ever written with the greatest guitar solo ever, 'Comfortably Numb'? They're all important, but others that really stand out include 'Run Like Hell', 'Hey You', 'Waiting For The Worms', 'Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)', 'Mother, 'Is THere Anybody Out There' and 'One Of My turns'. All hail Roger Waters!
Comfortably Numb. Saw David Gilmour in concert about four-five years ago, and he introduced Kate Bush who sang it. Also remember Van Morrison at the Roger Waters Berlin Wall gig.
The Wall is my favorite song on The Wall, the whole album is one song. It's intense and emotional and the music is unique and complex. It's the best album that ever existed.
one of my turns.. I should take that back. my favorite really and it was the greatest pleasure seeing it live.. What Shall We Do Now/ Empty Spaces.
The Trial. Close second is the whole In the flesh pt. 2/Run like hell/Waiting for the worms sequence.
In the flesh part 1 and part 2. Man this is hard the whole albums are so fantastically good. Hey you, run like hell mother. Are the ones I identify with most
