Here is what happens when you don't let Clint have some coffee in jail in the morning. From "Joe Kidd"
His films were very popular in my teenage years.I first started part time work at our local cinema when I was about 16. When one of his films opened, I suddenly realized that I was showing it to more than 2000 people and how I got through the 6 reels of film without the whole lot breaking down was a miracle. More than 50 years and 14 royal film performances later people hardly believe that the cinema let a 16 year old schoolboy run the performance on his own when the projectionist did not turn up one Saturday.
I love he and Lee van Kleef shooting eachother s hats in For a few dollars more. Also he provoking the hunchback (Klaus Kinski) in the saloon by lighting a match on his face. And of course how the bandits observe the bank (while getting observed) The Good, bad & the ugly is one big masterpiece imo. Too many great scenes to name
