back to the original subject. my favorite president was Clinton because he was mellow and smart and he boosted our economy to the best shape in history. Bush managed to put us in the biggest defasit ever, screw bush.
Mine would probably be Teddy Roosevelt, he was the sexiest president and a roughrider. my least favorite poster in this thread is the guy with the bush sign that mentioned the word liberal.
Mine was President Clinton, and NO not because he got a bj or had sex..but the US was a lot better place, he got things done such as people with middle class income could get health insurance for their children.alot of the middle class citizens couldn't afford health insurance for their children, and the lower income class had medicaid and the upper could afford it...the economy was up..and so were our spirits..I wish he could come back actually!
i wish he could come back, too. I mean, I can't believe they tried to impeach him! He was a good president! I loved Clinton. All he did was have fun, not like it's any of our business anyway, everybody did it, even Kennedy fooled around. Seriously, look what Bush is doing to our world... but hey at least he's only balling Laura, so it's okay? Man, it's a fucked up world..... woo also i wish i coulda been Monica Lewinski
As a person, maybe Harry S. Truman. Or even Gerald Ford, if only for being amusing. As a president (job-wise), hmmm, I guess Bill Clinton, or maybe Teddy Roosevelt. He broke the trusts, and established environmental conservatism (marking a time when that was once an important Republican issue).
fidel castro. he quit smoking cigars tyo set an example for the youth. nearly every cuban can read. he set inmpossible standards tthat could not be reached so everyone worked their hardest to meet it and htat's why it was so successful. since th us has cut off good, they drive classic cars and have motor oil that doubles as cooking oil. very industrious i think. yes he throws a lot of people in prison, but i don't think hes killing thousands of people all in one go.
Presidents have little control over the economy, and the only thing CLinton did right was nothing, the less you do the better the economy fairs.
Well in my lifetime, i have Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush to choose from. So I am going to choose Clinton.
Bush recently changed some of his policy on Cuba, only allowing family to visit cuban relatives once every three years. In response Cubans protested in front of the embassy with a 7-story banner depicting Bush as Hitler. I think about 200,000 showed up.
Andrew Jackson, founder of the Democratic Party. I know about the trail of tears and completely fucking up the US economy, but I don't base my decisions on policy but character. For example: His innaguration party included pretty much the entire city of Washington D.C. getting pissed drunk in the white house, a riot nearly ensued and he had to be taken away out a back enterence. And one time he was deuling someone, the other guy shot him, and hit him like 2 inches away from the heart. Jackson didn't even flinch, but slowly raised his gun up, aimed and shot the dude right between the eyes. That and he was a self-made man, something admirable in any political leader (from Nixon to Stalin )
LMAO... That defasit you're talking about started actually started *gasp* almost a year before Bush on *gasp* Clinton's watch. Now, I'm not going to blame Clinton for the bad economy because he didnt DO anything about it. I think its funny how you liberals can have such a double standard: 2000: "The decreasing economy can't be Clinton's fault because as President, he has no control over it." 2003: "Bush is to blame for the bad economy because as President he needs to do something about it. Oh yea, and Bush is Hitler."
