Favorite music genre

Metal and rock shouldn't be together They're seperate genres. Just sayin. Metal

 

You missed a lot of my favorite styles. here's my top 5:

1. Noise
2. Drone
3. Ambient
4. Lowercase
5. Microsound

 

It can change from black metal to psychedelic rock to folk and folk rock to dub and reggae to doom and heavy metal. Sometimes I'm mainly in the mood for big beat/drum 'n bass and trip hop/lounge stuff or psytrance. I don't favor any music genre overall but if I look at what I listen to the most I'd say psychedelic rock and hard rock à la Black Sabbath/Rainbow/Deep Purple etc. etc.

By the way, I don't get the dubstep genre neither I'm afraid. I'm pretty fond of good (especially psychedelic) dub lately though

 

Country and folk are two different things completely.

But they happen to be two of my favorite genres.

I picked rock/metal, but really I like quite a lot of stuff. Loads of blues like old acoustic stuff like lightning hopkins and mor modern blues like Joe Bonamassa, BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, rock n roll - Chuck Berry, Little Richard etc, Rock - AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Thin Lizzy, Aerosmith, bits of metal ande then loads of other random stuff, just so long as it's not just computer based shit
