I saw Avatar for my 2nd time to kick the year off.


The only other movie I saw in theaters was Clash of the titans which I wasn't too fond of.

 

Robin hood was very very overrated.

Clash of the titans was beyond horrible.

 

I did see Robin Hood on some movie channel. Nothing particularly wrong with it but I found it pretty boring.

 

I meant to see Jackass 3d but forgot to get around to it

But I just found out Black Swan is getting released here!!
Can't fucking wait.
Obviously going to be the best movie of the year.

Gonna see the Next Three Days at the dollar theater just to see Pittsburgh on a movie screen. (My street was in a movie before, but I saw it on a TV )

 

I remember liking your review of Easy A: So I'll see if I can find it on DVD. BTW, you sure do see lots of flicks! I'm amazed you find the time to write and post reviews.

Kick Ass was probably my favourite of the year

Not that that was all that great, it was no Dark Knight, means moreso that, yes, It was a pretty shitty year for movies

 

Mine too. Watched it several times in theater and now the DVD.

My new work schedule is a 4-day week, with Fridays off. That way I can catch a matinee of the weekly opening flick.

I only go to matinees, don't like to ride a bicycle after dark, plus there are usually fewer ppl on a weekday matinee. So far movies only cost me $7.50, so it is a cheap entertainment budget.

 

I am at least a couple years behind y'all ..we dont have a theatre in my town..just a ripoff video store and pay tv...the movie i just recently saw was ''get him to the greek'' and it was an ok time waster

 

Oh man. How to Train Your Dragon was awesome and is one of my most favorite movies ever. I don't even care what anyone else thinks. I wasn't really thrilled with many of the movies that came out this year though. Last year was better, I think. I went and saw Due Date a couple days ago and I wasn't impressed with it. It was okay, but I expected more because Robert Downey and Zach Glaskjf4alkjfaz26zzzs are pretty good actors and funny guys.

 

agreed...minus inception...thought that was average at best but better than everything else that came out this year

 

I honestly haven't been impressed with film so far this year... There are a lot I've missed out on seeing though. Because it's award season and many of the movies that are considered for Oscars come out late December, I'm still very interested in a few that are still to come.

I didn't get that at all.

Jeremy Renner was brilliant as usual. I fully expect to see him recieve another Oscar nod for The Town.

 

The Other Guys.. it made me laugh so much

 

The Other Guys could have been such an awesome movie.

If the first half was as is, a comedy, then you get half way through, something pushes Will Ferrell over the edge and he turns into this total badass, but still with Wahlberg as comic relief, and then second half was this full on action thing....then it would have been awesome.

Thats what I thought was going to happen when I was watching, but no, second half still a comedy.

Not that it was a bad movie, but it could have been so much more

 

awww i loved it...

I only watched two 2010 movies. One isn't worth mentioning, the other is Inception, which I enjoyed.
