Favorite movie or tv show intro

Shameless! This show was whacked, LOL! And I can't get that theme song out of my head!

 

I used to watch that show all the time until I gave up Showtime a few years ago

 

Yeah, fortunately I don’t have Showtime, I’ve been watching it off of someone’s external hard drive. That damn show has made it to 10 seasons!!!

Great movie.

Surprisingly they’re all still alive except for Chiang Sheng (who played The Student)

 

Damn, he was the youngest of all of them too, I think.

 

Sadly Sheng Chiang died young at the age of 40 (1991)


Lung Wei Wang who played the Judge is also still alive at age 70

He also played General Pu in Invincible Shaolin, and Lord Mok in The treasure Hunters, and in both movies was almost invincible.

 

Damn, you are all into it, LOL! You know, there was talk a few years back about remaking 5 Venoms, and it fell through. That would have been awesome!

After all these years, I still love this film and the times that I spent working with Fred Zinnemann.

 

Although directed before my working time, this is still one of my favorites and one that few people realize was Fred Zinnemann's work.
It was one of only a few films shot in 70mm Todd-AO running at 30,fps (60 at the shutter) and full 6 track magnetic sound.
This clip shows it in the correct aspect ratio, but sadly not on a 70 foot screen. The finished prints delivered to cinemas equipped to run them weighed around a quarter of a ton. The film was 5.6 miles long, so checking it took hours.

Lets just say my collection of Shaw Brothers movies on DVD is extensive
