LOL. Well, that's the actual name of the tree-it's not just the Florida Oak-it's the Florida Live Oak. I don't know why.
The Colorado blue spruce (Picea pungens) is my fav. I also love Douglas firs (Pseudotsuga menziesii). I just love evergreens, especially in winter.
i like oak and weeping willow. i love ironwood trees - the kind with the trunk that look like smooth rippled muscle. i like mountain ash, apple, and plum trees, too. and lilacs - we had 2 or 3 lilac bushes that got to be tree-sized in the house i grew up in. they smelled wonderful.
Eucalyptus. Smell awesome, look beautiful, grow fairly quickly, and they have these little buds on them that remind me of the hats worn by the main characters of my favorite book as a young child, Snugglepot and Cuddlepie.
i dont think i have just one favorite... since even thought the type of tree is the same, they might not be similar at all. for example one of my favorites to climb has some delicious berries growing on it right now... and a field over today i finally noticed the same kind of tree, with the same berries, but was nearly impossible to climb!
im allergic to eucalyptus in big quantities, i can handle a lil bit but probly couldnt live with 50 acres of it
